Classes are Wednesdays starting April 12, 10:30-11:20 a.m., at the Joan Pisani Community Center Patio Room. A drop-in fee will be charged. Yoga For the Blind classesThis class is open to sighted and visually impaired, but with special attention to teaching blind adults gentle yoga moves. Working with the therapeutic aspects of yoga, students will focus on improving mobility, balance and relaxation techniques, and strengthening and stretching the spine. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and guide dogs are welcome. Classes are $15 each at the Joan Pisani Community Center April 17, May 1 and May 15 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
